Ah, but Ward uses an anchor as a weapon!
.....that wasn't WHY he did it, but still! He did it just because umm....he wanted to? *shrug*

Haha, no doubt so that he could junction it to a stat, and never actually cast it for fear of becoming weaker

Most magic was unnecessary in that game anyway, which is why I never had a problem with the draw system - I thought it made a lot of sense and was awesome.

I think there is a fundamental flaw in a game where the magic system pretty much rewards not using magic though

Seriously. Does anyone ever actually use Flare, Meteor, or Ultima? I've only ever junctioned them.

I'm not a fan of the draw system for a couple reasons. Firstly are Count and Fleck's points about junctioning. I never use magic except for Life and Cure spells, and even those I'd rather not use. I'm extremely possessive of items in RPGs. I try to never use stuff like megalixirs and whatnot because I'm a hoarder. And since magic is item-like, I hoard it. Should be fine, but it takes FOREVER to get all the magics. You can refine it, but that requires stealing: a process almost as time-consuming as drawing.
Oh well. I've spoken about bad draw stuff before. Back on topic! AFFR TONIGHT!

I like Kiros/Ward too... but for the sake of argument, I'll root for...... hmmm..... Tidus/Wakka. I sincerely doubt that they'll win, but that's never stopped me from picking teams before.

Rooting for the underdogs is more fun anyway!

Well, part 2 ended.... surprisingly. Gotta recalculate some picks.

Heh heh. Didn't see that coming. Eliminating Kiros and Ward first. You are twisted, Bob.

And sad. I really liked them, but the cards fell that way...

Heh, well I placed them at 11th at worst, but I definately thought they'd make it at least toward the middle. Huh...
