Tomorrow, I think. I've been mega-busy lately (seeing Cabin in the Woods Sunday night didn't help much). I should have time tomorrow. But for now...the sleepingz.

This could be a good team or a bad team, but either way, it's a team. I considered Zidane in Season 3 and he's really the reason that Blank & Marcus became a team since I'd considered Zidane & Blank, but decided Blank & Marcus are bro-ier, so I went with them. Zidane and Vivi (have I spoiled the team yet?) were so close during FF9 and I really loved their in-game chemistry, so I've decided to go with them. I THINK Vivi is the only party member to never leave Zidane's party (except in special, short bits) until the party is allowed to be chosen by the player. Fun fact (if it's fact, I haven't verified 100%) So for that, the next team is.... Zidane & Vivi: Friends.

A decent team, but I think Vivi's gonna suck in the race. After all, he falls down a lot and is awkward and clumsy. He'd probably do okay with mental challenges and the like, but not much else. Sometimes there will be one physical ace and the other team member can compensate by being awesome at mental stuff, so they work well together, but in this case, I think Vivi is going to be a drain on Zidane's mad skillz, rather than a complement.

I think they'll be 8th or 7th overall...

Huh. I thought ten was the minimum age limit. Vivi's nine.
Either way, I agree. Vivi will be the major weak point here.

Will have rejects up tomorrow. Time has escaped me tonight. I am writing the first episode of this race and I got into it and lost track of time. So update tomorrow.

Tardy again, Mr. Bergman? This is, what? The third consecutive week? We here at Goatpen, Goatpen, and Jenova pride ourselves in our punctuality. It's a sign of a strong work ethic, Mr. Bergman. And if you cannot be bothered to finish your work on time, then we cannot be bothered to keep you on our team.
I'm sorry, Mr. Bergman... you're fired. Pack your things and go. Leave your keycard on my desk when you leave.

This is a team I...don't have a whole lot to say about. I considered a few teams from FF12 like Vayne and Larsa, but I just couldn't see either of them in the race. And so we have this team, the first twins since season one (which was SO long ago! 4-1=3!), Gabranth & Basch: Identical Twins.

AFFR Season 4 is shaping up to have one of the physically strongest casts yet. Whether or not S4 has the best characters or relationships or the most interesting people is arguable, but pretty much every team is composed of known badasses. So far, Scarlett and Heidegger are the only team who aren't physical powerhouses (Vivi and Edea too, but both of those teams are counterbalanced by a very physical teammate), but they can make up for it by being outrageously evil. Really, it seems like it's going to be character dynamics, not physical or mental strength, that's going to decide the winner of this season.
