Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha bitches!
You all looked at my suggestions a while back and thought "Wow, Fleck is retarded! Bob will NEVER do these stupid ideas!"
But you're wrong!
WRONG!
I'm going to run around naked and scream a lot to celebrate.
You all suck.

Wow, I just thought he'd never do that because Ma Dincht was never given a first name. (I hope that issue comes up in the race, too, because I'm already picturing the dialogue that could come from that.)

I think so long as each character has two names they can be referred to as (e.g. President Shinra/Ma Dincht) it doesn't really matter if they have a first name or not.

I died from loss of internet, stupid power failures... But I'm back and un-needed! I though the same as Dale, no first name = Gegurgurgerch! And it is a pain but he did it with President Shinra. As for the actual team selection, well, I'm intrigued to see their statistics, but really now, Ma Dincht? I think Zell & T-Rexaur would've been better. I think Ma would be dead weight in this, like Rinoa was to Squall, "ZELL! It's not nice to totally smoke someone in an event! Zell! It's not nice to beat someone in a Foot Race after they've tried so hard!" Obviously Bob would mod Ma's personality and make her a hardass or something, but still, I don't see much point, they would do about as well as Sephy & Jenova or Tifa & Paine. By the way, Zone & Watts? I don't think they were mentioned ever.

Ma can be a name. Like in Fairly Oddparents. Timmy Turner's parents are named Mom and Dad.... And Timmy is voiced by Rikku! Which makes my point 102% valid.
And as far as dead weight goes, you never know if they'll have some other useful ability that isn't related to being physically fit. Shinra had his navigation. And as far as REAL Amazing Race, there were a couple old people that made it to umm... fifth? Fourth? Dale knows. Gretchen and Meredith. They went far just because they didn't make stupid screw-ups like the younger teams. Maybe Ma will be helpful... Or maybe she'll screw them. Who knows....

Wow... Fairly Oddparents, I haven't watched that in years... But is Timmy seriously voiced by Rikku? Thats so contradictory, but I suppose it makes sense, and for the record, there were various points in the show where Mom & Dad said their true names, though they were covered up by a passing truck or something. Yeah, I Suppose Ma may have some good wisdom, and being a Mother, she can probably keep Zell from doing stupid stuff, but I guess we'll have to wait and find out...

Like in Fairly Oddparents, I could imply that she has a name and it's always covered up, but again in Fairly Oddparents, there was the episode where Dad conquers the world and they all call him Dad. Either way, Ma Dincht FTW!

In all honesty, I don't think this will be a bad team at all. Zell has the physical aspect down 100% and Ma surely has the brains. So long as Zell doesn't have to do any individual tasks that use his brain or Ma using her physical strength, they might make it at least to the second half or so.
