When we're done with this talk of weird, mutated animals, Bob, Meredith & Gretchen were fourth. Lynn & Alex were fifth.

Another team that's being played for comedy, but actually has potential. Ma Dincht does have brains, after all, she's been a parent. If her level-headedness can temper Zell, these two can do well. As for Zell, he excels in fighting and could also likely do well if, say, an eating challenge were to come along. I'm hoping for good things from this team, as VIII is another sentimental favorite, even if the overall plot and battle system aren't as good as some of the others.

Nice finish by these two. I hope they stick around a while.

So they still maintain their lead and are now in first. I hope Zell's plan to conceal the opening time doesn't come back and bite him.
Knowing my luck, it probably will.

So, on leg two, they have a lot of bad luck and fall right to the back of the pack. I'm glad they survived in spite of their buggy breaking down and Biran & Yenke Crossing them, but I really hope they can pick things up.
. . . Apparently, not so much in episode three. Man, they could've given Kelly & Christy from the current season (so glad it's coming to an end tomorrow night -- it was so bad!) a run for their money. That massive brain-fart with not reading the clue properly could've killed them.
Based on the bottom two, I hated to see either of them go, but of the two, I think I'd have rather seen Ma & Zell survive the leg, so I'm glad they did. But please, you two, get back up there!

Well, they didn't get back up to the top, but I was impressed with their racing this time. They thankfully didn't despair at being at the back of the pack and did all their tasks well. And Zell shouldn't be ashamed of using the Yield. Freya & Fratley were way stronger than Dona & Barthello.

Second place! Very nice leg on their part! Ma had me worried at the Roadblock, but she persevered!
But Bob, were those, indeed, Zell's moves Ma somehow used at the Roadblock? I vaguely recall a Booya and a Punch Rush (used as a Bat Rush in the story), but am not completely sure.

They kiiiind of were. I figure Zell is the type that tells everything to Ma, including "Hey Ma, look at this new martial arts technique I learned! *fists in the air* I call it Booya!" So while it's probably a very BAD version of Booya and "Bat" Rush, I think she was just thinking "What would Zell do?" and channeled her inner chicken-wuss.

Well, it paid off. And I was glad. They really are the strong team I thought they had the potential of being after the first leg.

Still placing high. Third place on this leg (as well as their performance in the tasks) proves it to me. Finishing second on leg five wasn't a fluke.
Still loving this team. Still hoping they make it to the F4, at least.

YAY! First place for Ma & Zell! It's about time, you two! I'm very proud of both of you! Ma, in particular, owned that leg, especially at the Roadblock!
I hope they keep going strong, because they now seem like dark horses to make the F3!

Second place! Slight drop from leg seven, but they raced well on this leg. Zell was right to give Ma the credit, though. It was her rocking the Detour and then rocking the ruins puzzle that helped them stay in it and finish high, and I'm glad they did.
Good work, Ma & Zell!

Oh, boy. They were in a bit of trouble at the end of the last leg, but I was glad they pulled out of it.
But they could be in a LOT more trouble on this leg, though. They should've just gone to the Roadblock when they saw Biran & Yenke and Dona & Barthello both going for the Fast Forward.
I'm hoping like hell they catch back up. They've run a great race in spite of all the odds against them. Unlike two other hairy beasts who've lucked out most of the time. Since Dona & Barthello have pretty much cemented their place in the F3, I'd love to see the Dinchts and the Tycoons both make it there with them. If they both survive, I'll be happy, because I can look at this F3 and easily say, "Now we have a race!"
If the Ronso survive yet again, this time over them, I'll just say, "Meh. Final leg will between Dona & Barthello and Reina & Faris" (if Reina & Faris survive, of course).
