I've been working like crazy, generally I leave before 8AM and get home at 7:30PM every night now that I work at a preschool, so it's a bit distractive...

Sheesh, that's a long day. This preschool far away or something? Or is that preschool + other life stuff?
Well, get me line-ups when you can. I'm really not wanting to sim next round until Round 2 is complete, though it really won't affect THAT much, especially this early. All players are eligible, so it's not like I can figure out which players you might bench or anything like that.

Okay, Round 2 is completely updated now. We'll do Round 3 tomorrow, so Wyvern, if you get a chance, it'd be great to get your Round 3 line-ups tonight.
BTW, dunno about everybody else's schedules, but it sounds like Wyvern might be better with one game a week on Sundays. Would that be better for everybody? It'd mean this takes 7 weeks to finish a league instead of 3.5, but if that is more do-able, then I don't mind changing it, but please take a second to weigh in on it.
Thanks!

I can do it, I just had to get into rhythm. Plus, I can get lineups for Sunday by Saturday and lineups for Wednesday on Sunday.

Close game between Nightshades and Marlboro. It was a battle of the defenders, trying to wrench the ball forward in baby steps. Wakka, playing center, took the ball all the way up the middle into dunking position a few times but just couldn't find the right angle for a shot and hands the ball over. The results were close: 1 to 2, Diamonds.

During an encounter with multiple defenders, how is the order determined of who attacks or who blocks first?

Like in FFX Blitzball, the order is determined by attack power, so highest attack is first. Makes for interesting characters because if you can always get two defenders into an encounter (like with Center formation), then you can have an attacker with low block and vice versa for a nasty combo.

I'll update the next round of blitz asap, but need Wyvern's line-ups. Also, Rich, MAR was minus a forward, so if you can check that over, I'll update it (otherwise I just tossed Reks into the position because he was the last player on the list...not sure if that's good or not, but I'll re-sim if you get me the fix before I post results).

SM7 vs MAR was particularly good because SM7 was leading most of the game, but MAR really rallied at the end. And uhh, because I like to peek, when I put Reks in as the LF...SM7 kinda won. So Rich, good thing you got back to me in time to put a forward in the forward position Otherwise, I'm proud of my Bears, not just for the win, but for a buzzer beater! End of the first half, Sazh actually MADE a buzzer beater! Good job, buddy! And good job Orlandu. Y'know, for dominating. Strangely, the Mercs and MadExes are sucking the big one this league. Both were top of their game in previous rounds, but are somehow totally slacking now. Get it together, you guys! Will post the next games on Wednesday, so get me those line-ups, y'all, and happy blitzing!

There were some good plays in the Merc Vs. Diamond games. There was a quick snipe shot by Tseng with an assist from Amarant and some good blocks by Worker 8.
In the MAR SM7 game, Ashe tries to blitzkreig and make a goal right off the bat, but Edgar catches the ball no problem and passes it on up the field for a counter-goal.
Down by 1 going into the second half, the MARs tie it up and then start to pick up the slack and take the lead.
Well played, everyone.
I'm really glad I got Cloud registered on time. I knew he was the one to go in.
Sazh was hella feelin' it. He had a solid Shot Bonus and the goalie was cheering him on as well. Nailed that shot.

***Results***
GB vs NS was a good game. GB had the lead most of the game, but they only put the nails in the coffin during the second half of the second half.
SM7 vs MRC was...well, Count will be pleased. Laguna single-handedly made the whole Merc team look like little bitches. Check out his three-block shot! Sure, he was shooting from inside the net already, essentially, but still! Three defenders AND the goalie broken. Nice job, Laguna. SM7 officially breaks the Merc curse!
And if Count weren't happy enough, talk about a game, MAG! The Missiles swam circles around the newbie Diamond team and shut them out 6-0! Nice work, ladies!
And TME, like the Mercs, continue to struggle. The Marbs really are proving to be the best in the league right now and really showed little weakness against the Mad Exes.

My God! I DON'T BELIEVE IT! SM7 finally beat them, after 6 leagues/tournaments of failing?
Laguna must be the Tidus to my Aurochs. That being said, I think the real star is my new Seifer build. He was always intended to be a front line striker who likes to beat people up (since that's the nice kinda guy he is), but since his remake he's become a dedicated front-line bully. Pretty much every time the ball got released after an SM7 goal, Seifer took the ball away from Tseng immediately, taking away the usual advantage of always getting the ball after being scored against.

You have taken my usual spot in this league Looking how things are going, it may end up being decided by who wins in the Grizzlies vs Marlboros in the final round. Both teams are performing so well that I don't see them having trouble beating anyone but eachother! Edit: Kinda surprised that MAG are performing so well this league. I didn't alter them very much when compared to SM7, and just stuck to my guns. Guinness' CA score is absurdly high though Is he maxed out on super goalie?
