Jesus! Loveless has a rough schedule for the first half. The first three games are against the top three seeds from last season! GRR!
Also, since we got a peek at the Aurochs' builds, can we see the Goers as well?

Just finished designing them. As mentioned before (I think), I'm keeping Raudy (the goalie) at level 15, just so he isn't TOO OP, but the rest of the team is level 17. I don't think they'll be a difficult team based on builds, since I'm trying to duplicate the in-game Goers and not design a super team, so I think they're pretty much on par with our possible super teams, they just have more points overall.

I plugged the Goers into your Excel file and maaaaan... they are going to be brutal. Not unbeatable, but brutal. We'll see how this season goes.

Yeah, and that's my thoughts with them. They have some power forwards that are going to be tough to crack. That's why I kept the goalie back a couple levels. Hopefully this isn't an impossible team, but hey, they can't make the playoffs, so it might just be a way to see if ANYBODY can beat the Goers. A nice challenge, for sure. And the Aurochs are kind of a nice "take a break" match for resting an essential player or two.

Man, I just really looked at things - NS has a brutal mid-season run of games, and whatever TME's win count is after round 6 will pretty much be it. Should be interesting to see if anyone can beat LG - I had initially expected them to be a level higher rather than two (not that I don't appreciate the challenge), but this makes it quite a mismatch.

Two other things:
1. Can we have the most recent copy of the blitz simulator on the 'how to play' page?
2. Will the two 'computer' teams have a fixed formation (possibly Center for BA, Wide for LG, to give our teams a fighting chance)?

COUUUUUUUUUNT! Need your first line-ups so we can start the league, dude. Wyvern: 1. Sure. I'll have it up as soon as I can, it's on my other computer though, so I'll have to like, turn it on and like, use it. It's up now. Version 4 (I kinda saved over Version 3, so...hope we like 4! ) 2. Fixed, yeah. I'm thinking just Normal for both though. The disadvantage that the CPUs have is that they'll play the same way every single time, so planning for them should give a decent advantage. I will say about the Goers that they don't have as big an advantage as you might think. None of their stats are maxed and I'm sure a few of ours are, so if we play ours correctly, we could have as strong or stronger people in certain positions. Their forwards ARE pretty much SHT and END (turns out Bickson and Abus are like that), but they do have a few points in other areas that they don't need. And they suck at stealing the ball and suck at passing. But we'll see! I'm hoping they're strong, but not too strong, kinda like the first game in FFX.

Hope you don't mind, Count, but you didn't list formations, so I gave both Normal.
Okay, my thoughts and therefore some spoilers about the first matches! Spoiler alert below!!!
Our games are very low scoring and I think Super Goalie is to blame. I'm thinking our package additions might've been a really bad idea. Count's Magic Missiles had somebody (Garnet, I think?) IN the opposing goal, but she refused to shoot. I don't know her SHT, but as a player on the front lines, she must've had a somewhat decent SHT stat. *shrug*
I think Super Goalie has made it too hard to score. I dunno. Maybe we were fine with the 2.5-to-1.5 ratio of SHT to CA, largely because of ball drag. While I think we have more specific goalies, I think we might be shooting ourselves in the foot by having too much CA.
If you want proof that we might have a problem on our hands, one that I might even say that we should scrap the Round 1 results and reorganize teams before continuing the league, then I point you to the insane ratio of goals scored that REQUIRED goalie SHT boosting. Personally, I like that goalies can boost random stats, but it is almost required in this league, it seems. Every point scored in the Goers v. Aurochs game was with goalie boost. Every point scored in the LO v. SM7 game was with a goalie boost. 3/4 of the points scored in MRC v. MAG were with goalie boost. I'd rather not make the teams all about the goalie boost, but who knows? Maybe that's what'll make the goalies more...unique.
Maybe I'm being too rash, but I think it might be a good idea to re-designate Super Goalie and Keepa package levels and either rework or ditch the packages altogether. Yes, I strongly advocated for them, but I'm regretting it now. I dunno. Maybe I'm the only one that sees these results and is skeptical.
BTW, if you want to see my MRC build in action, check out Gafgarion's goal at the end of the game. Look at that amazing SHT and laugh because you'll probably figure out the entire MRC build just from that one shot, but then look at how Lulu ALMOST blocked it and be afraid. I think ball drag is a big hindrance that we were not considering strongly enough when we decided to add Super Goalie.
Thoughts? Or should we just power through this league and see what happens? I'll go along with the consensus.
