Plagiarism is a hard word to spell! In searching some of my website data today, I found out that I have been plaaaaaaagiarized! These reviews look awfully familiar: pokemonsupergenerations.blogspot.com/2014/05/pokemon-first-generation-games-review.htmlpokemonsupergenerations.blogspot.hk/2014/08/pokemon-crystal-review.htmlAlmost curious if he found my other two Pokemon reviews, too. *shrug* This guy just did a copy/paste, so all of my images are straight from my website, including my starters of "Bob is playing the SNES" in the screenshot. I'm curious to see if this guy gets my message. I posted a comment about it on the review, but it has a "pending approval" buffer and might be kind of glitchy. Hopefully he gets the message... But if he doesn't, I'm REALLY tempted to change the names of all of the images on my site so that they'll look fine on my page (since I'll fix the links on my pages), but I'll change the old images to be pictures that say "I plagiarized this review" or something like that. I could potentially have way too much fun with this kid. Any suggestions for cool images to substitute, should this person not comply with my "at least mention and link to my site" request? Keep in mind, these images will still be uploaded on my site, so they can't be anything too profane (so no penises, Fleck...sorry).

If there aren't any penises involved, then I'm not interested.
On the one hand, I say crucify the fucker. But on the other hand, I wonder who the hell needs to plagiarize a REVIEW, of all things. "Here's my personal thoughts on something." "Well whaddya know? Those are my exact thoughts too! Guess I'll just copy/paste!"
It's all weird.

I've certainly seen plagiarism on the Internet before; in fact, I think it may have even happened to me. But yeah, why plagiarize a review? Bizarre.

I didn't do anything too extreme (because I have better things to do), but I have at least put my mark on the plagiarized site. Same links as before, but first picture in both reviews has been changed (in the same way because of said better things to do).
pokemonsupergenerations.blogspot.com/2014/05/pokemon-first-generation-games-review.html pokemonsupergenerations.blogspot.hk/2014/08/pokemon-crystal-review.html
I think I'm letting him off easy, but that's basically because I can't tell if he's an asshole (purposely plagiarized) or an idiot (just wanted to put up a cool review he found but forgot that important step of providing a link). I'm giving benefit of the doubt and going with idiot/kid-that-doesn't-know-better. If I get evidence proving otherwise, then penises might arise (if they haven't already, Fleck). Either way, it could be a good thing because it might drive a tiny bit of traffic here? Yay free ad-space!
EDIT: My wife came up with a better idea. All of the above applies, but we also went with a classic Rick-Roll. Classy as always.

Upon further investigation, I'm pretty sure this dick just plagiarizes everything. His most recent one is a direct rip from IGN. My last reservation in saying "Take him down with cocks!" is that he's posting on a blog that seems to be more than just him - it seems to be an online gameplay blog of some sort:
"Pokemon Generations! Pokémon: Generations is a free, unofficial, 3D Action/Adventure/RPG heavily inspired by both the Pokemon Anime & the Pokemon Video Games. The game will contain both single and multiplayer aspects, along with a story bridging the gap between RBY & GSC. As progress continues, updates will be available on the game's launcher. If you're interested in helping the project, please note that we're only interested for asset gatherers/creators, however all support is both greatly appreciated and highly motivating, and we're grateful for it. We'll be updating this page regularly with news, patches, and media, but if you really want to stay in the loop, we suggest that you join our forums. Also, Mac users can find ports of the latest versions at this link. You'll have to use StuffitExpander in order to extract the contents, but you should be able to play from there. Pokémon © 2002-2013 Pokémon. © 1995-2013 Nintendo/Creatures Inc./GAME FREAK inc. TM, ®, the Pokémon logo and Pokémon character names are trademarks of Nintendo. No copyright or trademark infringement is intended in using said source material in Pokémon Generations. All aesthetic assets are 100% hand-crafted by Xatoku Productions. *Sound assets have been ripped from bought Nintendo IPs. The goal of Pokémon Generations is to explore the world of Pokémon in a non-profitable, PG, respectful way. PS: Buy Nintendo's PKMN games. They are awesome and support the awesome people who introduced us to Pokemon in the first place. We don't deserve any money, but they sure as hell do."

Nah, never mind. I think this is a front page for an external program or something actually, not something kids would be popping onto regularly. Further, it seems that this Guy Fawkes'er is just stealing people's work to get traffic and attention for said front page. Do your worst.

Yeah, pretty much everything on his page is ripped from somebody else. So, y'know, at least I can change up my images to make his site look kind of silly and make people aware that this stuff is not his own. I'll call that a win and move on because I have SOOOOO much/many better things to be doing with my time. Now, anybody that sees my review will say "How come this first image talks about plagiarism and a goatpen.org and the rest are all Rick Astley never giving me up?" and hopefully redirect to my page and ignore Plagiarism Hell.

That's great, Bob! I think that's all you really need to do and all the time that this fraud is really worth.

Fleck: You ALWAYS say it needs more penis! You think a picture of a penis forest needs more penis! And whether or not I agree is not the point here!
Agent: Yeah, kinda my thoughts, too. I'll take the extra ad-space though! Anybody happening through that particular blog now knows where to go for the "good" stuff!
