So, I finished reading it! Well, I know that some didn't, but I enjoyed it. I thought there was a particularly interesting mix of worlds this time around, really taking the race away from familiar Final Fantasy territory. That one leg where they were transported into other people in New York in a war zone was really wild.
I was a bit disappointed that Galuf and Krile were eliminated so quickly, as Final Fantasy V is a sentimental favorite of mine, but there were a lot of other good teams. At first, I figured that Kefka & Terra were just going to be a gimmick team, but they ended up being surprisingly effective prior to their final breakdown. Brother was very entertaining and it ended up being a real surprise there with that team also being so effective. I think Yang & Ursula's sort of fading out may have helped their efficiency.
I'd put both Kefka & Terra and Cid & Brother on All Star Team. Anyway, good ending to the season, and it was nice to read again and get the full benefits of the graphics, once they were fixed.d
BTW, Bob, if you're reading, don't forget that you owe me a little something, something in a couple of days, if you're still doing that.

Would love to do bday updates, but I have no time right now, unfortunately. I check my forum more on my phone now than my computer because I don't even turn on my home computers a lot. Someday the site will rise again...someday.
But glad you liked the season! I enjoyed writing it! A lot of eliminations even surprised me! Definitely didn't go as intended, but I like the result.

Cool. Yeah, a fair few definitely surprised me too. You have a good breadth of games there to draw from, have you played all of the ones that are featured?
I've branched out a bit somewhat on PS3 games myself. I've played several Atelier games, as well as Tales of Graces f, and something called Time and Eternity, though I'm only maybe about a quarter of the way through that and have put it aside for the time being. Well, and, of course, Eternal Sonata, but you already knew about that one.

Can't believe I never replied to this. Sorry, Agent! Yes, I've played all the games featured.
I'm hoping to play the Tales games, too. Count recommended them a long time ago, but I haven't had the time. I actually bought one of the Tales games, but returned it before even opening it because GameStop lied to me. It said "new," so I got it, but then it didn't have an instruction booklet, and the employees said it just didn't have one, so I looked it up online and it did, of course, so I returned it out of spite...and because if I'm paying the same price for it, then I should get everything, even though I rarely even look at the booklets. Grr. Anyway, yeah, I've played a bunch of different PS3 games over the past little while, but am really wanting a good RPG to play now.
