I was gonna take the 8 winners from the previous round and then have a series of one-on-ones buuuut screw it. I'm ready for this to be done with. So instead of a long, drawn out bracket, we have CRAZY FREE FOR ALL YAY. All the winners are here; vote for your three favorite and rank them from most loved to least loved.
Also we actually had a tie between Rikku and Kimahri. Rikku got a second place from me, and a third place from Count. Kimahri got a second place from Bob and a third place from me. Bob gave Rikku a sixth place finish, but neither me nor Count went that far with our picks, so Kimahri didn't have a third vote with which to break the tie. So I figured "Screw it" and tossed them both into the final round. So let's FINISH THIS.
FOR ALL THE MARBLES! ALLLL OFFFF THEMMMMMMM!

#1: The Wakkanator Pure unbridled destruction. Wakka has Final Fantasy's best limit break.
#2: Zell I actually don't mind entering in the commands for Zell's combos. It beats mashing square any day.
#3: Rikku Because of reasons.

#1: Wakka
No contest here. Stupid damage, tons of fun, kills most normal bosses instantly. Attack reels should have been his ultimate overdrive, but it's merely his second. Overpowered like Zell, but doesn't take ages to do.
#2: Cloud
Omnislash is still damn satisfying, in all its pixelated glory. To this day, I still don't know if the final battle against 'normal' Sephiroth can ever be lost, or if Sephiroth even attacks. One omnislash has always been enough to see him off.
#3: Rikku
Joining in on the Rikku love, because mix is just a great limit break. So long as you have the items, Rikku can do just about anything you could possibly need in a tough battle. While I normally like to hoard items like Bob, Rikku's overdrive is so good that I'm inclined to do otherwise (although you gotta save the REALLY nice stuff for the super-bosses)

Sephiroth can attack, but he can't win. If you don't Omnislash, then Cloud counterattacks (regardless of whether or not you have the materia equipped) and the counterattack wins. So you use Omnislash if you want a badass finish to a badass game. You wait if you want a ridiculous finish to a badass game.
My Picks:
1. Wakka. Attack Reels is unrivaled.
2. Cloud. Again, Omnislash is good, but his other ones are fun, too. From Cross-slash on, really. Unlike Wakka, Cloud isn't just a pick for his ultimate attack, but for all of them.
3. Zell. Oddly enough, though I put Squall higher up before, in a list with this much competition, I like Zell just for having something like Armageddon Fist. It's just a fun thing. Yeah, I whine about it taking too long, but I love that his limit has options. And even if I'm too lazy to do the full limit, it's fun to do some Dolphin Blows and such, too. And when you're not using a strategy guide and you still work up to a My Final Heaven or something like that, it's pretty fun.
Reason for not liking Rikku: Save spheres. I thought about this last night. Part of why I don't care about Mix is that I can get full HP/MP from a save sphere, so I don't often need the restore. Otherwise, I'd love to be able to mix an ether and a potion to get a badass etherpotion (or...whatever). If this game didn't have restore points until towns, then I'd be all over Rikku, but as is, I just use whatever I have 99 of and hope for the best. I've never done great damage with her.

Strangely enough, even though none of us put Zell as our number 1, he is currently primed to win (since number of votes > placement in votes) so... unless we have one more voter come in, then Zell's gonna be the winner.
I must say I did not see this coming. I thought it'd be Wakka all the way.
