Let's keep on with the keepin' on.
The previous polls are still active and have not yet been decided, so feel free to vote on them. The polls will close when we've gotten a chance to vote on all eligible FFs.
Vote for who you think has the best limit breaks. You can use any definition of "best" you want, whether it's whatever does the most damage, whatever is the flashiest, or just because. You can really make your own criteria, so if you only like one limit break from that character, but dislike the rest of that character's limit breaks, then feel free to vote for that character anyway.
How this is gonna work: You can vote for three characters, but only the top two advance to the next round. In addition, it'd be super cool if you'd also leave a comment ranking your 1-3, in case of any tiebreaks, so we shouldn't have to make extra polls. The two with the most votes advance to the next round, where they will be randomly squared off in one-on-one polls between the winners of other FF polls. Guests are not included in the polls.
Final Fantasy's 1 through 5 are omitted, for not having limit breaks, FF6 is omitted because everyone's limit break is essentially the same thing (with some minor, trivial variations). Likewise, FF12 and FF13 will also be skipped for having lame and/or not really having limit breaks.

If I could, I would vote "All your limit breaks suck, go home." Honestly, Trance is the worst limit break system in all Final Fantasy. Bar none. No argument. It sucks. Since I really dislike the system, I only ever find use from the people whose Trances equate to more damage or faster damage, so I'm going with Zidane, Vivi, Steiner. I guessss...... in that order too. There's my 1, 2, 3. Everyone else's limits either happen when I don't need them, or involve skills I don't use. But unless I'm trying to steal something, I'm usually trying to cause damage, so those three have the most useful Trances for me. Everyone else is meh. I rarely use Garnet's summons, the enemy is usually dead by the time Freya both Trances and Jumps, Quina's Cook NEVER comes on when I actually want to eat an enemy. Eiko's Double White never happens when I need a cure, and Amarant french fries when he needs to pizza.
That is all.

I'm going Zidane, Steiner, Amarant. In...some order.
1. Zidane: For having ultimate badass power. His Trance actually comes in power, just usually at the wrong time. "But I haven't stolen the Ice Brand yet!!!" I'll usually try to hit the enemy with a couple trances, then back off on damage entirely while Zidane steals. Seriously, his Trance should make his Steal 100%. That would've been rockin'. But still, 9999 to all enemies is awesome for that game (and for a person that doesn't grind enough to see consistent 9999 damage with Thievery, Dragon Crest, stuff like that).
2. Umm...Steiner. No, Amarant. Urg...I DUNNO! Steiner doesn't need a Trance and Amarant isn't around for much of the game! OKAY, I'LL PICK!
2. Amarant (for realzies). He doesn't do much, but having a Chakra-All, Revive-All, and all that crap is fantastic. Really pumps that bitch up and makes him awesome. I constantly hope for him to Trance, which means he needs to be high on the list.
3. Steiner. He just doesn't really need it, but it's nice to have him do awesome damage easily. He's the only one that I don't feel bad when I've already told him to attack and he suddenly Trances. Most people I go "DAMMIT! Don't ATTACK, Eiko! I want your Dbl White!!! Urg!" but for Steiner, I go "DAMMIT--Err, well, I guess I woulda told you to do that anyway. So whatevs. Go Steiner!"
4. Eiko. Double White is great. Haste AND Protect or Curaga and Reflect (not that I EVER use Reflect...). She has great White Statuses, but I never waste a turn with them except in DblWhiteMode...so go Eiko.
5. Freya. Infinite Jump. Often it pisses me off because I need her down below taking damage or using Reis's Wind or something, but hey, can't beat taking a spot off screen and wailing on all enemies. Too bad the damage is random and often shitty.
6. Vivi. Dbl Black HELPS, buuuuut I don't often care. On bosses: super. On regulars: pointless (as most Trances are). But even on bosses I'll just burn through MP with Dbl Black, plus he loses his Trance VERY fast.
7. Garnet. She sucks. Eidolon? Don't use 'em. So...suck it, Garnet.
8. Quina. Cook instead of Eat. Okay, Statistics time here, fellas. There are X number of Blue Magic spells in the game. Trance is essentially Random. If you already have a Blue Magic, then you don't need to use Eat anymore. Now, take a guess as to the probability that Quina Trances on an enemy that has a needed Blue Magic? I'll tell you how often it's happened to me: NEVER. Anybody EVER get Cook when they needed it? Seriously, your Trance sucks.
