I'm curious to see who people would enjoy seeing in the upcoming season of Amazing Final Fantasy Race: Fallen-Stars. This is the teams that did not make the top half of the competition, which in most cases means a bottom six.
You are allowed to select as many teams as you'd like for the poll, but keep in mind that if I see a solid block of "yay all teams" then it doesn't help me at all. On average, there will be 3 teams selected from each season, but that isn't a definite number. If one season wants 5, it just means another season gets 1 (or a combination of 'em get 2...y'know...math and all that).
So please, feel free to weigh in. And as always, comments help me a lot...plus it's kinda fun. Yes, Fallen-Stars probably won't happen for about a year, so this is WAY early, but I think it's fun to consider.
Similar threads will be posted for Seasons 3 and 4 in Eventually Land.

My choices were these three teams: Barret & Dyne, Cecil & Rosa, and Brahne & Garnet.
Barret & Dyne were purely from a racing perspective. I thought they were doing okay on that first leg before they start fucking up at the parade, and then started spiraling downward beyond that point. Still, I do think they had potential to get a good ways into the race and would really like to see them get another chance. Unless Dyne really killed himself upon getting that phone call. . . .
Cecil & Rosa, however, are purely from a personality perspective. I loved watching, as I told Bob several times, Cecil's "crazy dark side emerging" moments, coupled with Rosa having to calm him down using her compact mirror. I just wanna see them come back so I can read about more of those moments happening. I guess from a racing perspective, they showed they, too, had potential with their second-leg win, but really, I just wanna see that dark side sneak out! Hell, even fully emerge!
Brahne & Garnet were picked for a mix of three things -- racing, personality, and gender. Racing-wise, while not the strongest team, they weren't the weakest, either. They, too, had potential in how they found many ways out of letting Brahne's weight and build slow them down. Unfortunately, Brahne's build wasn't even their downfall. It was Garnet being a wet noodle and forcing Brahne into that fateful Roadblock in which her build would be a problem that finally sent them packing. So I'd like to see if Garnet's done making big mistakes like that, and if Brahne's gotten smart enough to avoid tasks that sound even remotely physical unless they're in a good position. Personality-wise, I just liked their dynamic a lot and wanted to see more of that. Gender-wise, we just need some all-female teams for gender diversity. From these lists, we'll more than likely have a lot of men's teams and coed teams. Some women's teams would be nice, too.
As for the other three teams, Cid & Celes were just way too boring and had zero potential at all. Freya & Fratley had some, but I think we're more than fine leaving them out of Fallen-Stars since there's not much to do with them, racing-wise or story-wise. Plus, their leaping would give them too big of a disadvantage. And while Reno & Rude were strong, they'd anticlimatically dominate again, and I want a fairer, more even race. So no Turks, please.
So that's my take.

I cheated on this one and voted for four people, but I'll explain myself in a second. Here are my choices, in order from most OMG MUST HAVE to least omg must have.
1: Reno/Rude. In many ways, they are as much Fallen Stars as Edgar/Sabin. I still remember that a lot of us considered an F3 with Reno/Rude to be almost a given. The question was not whether Reno/Rude would kick as, it was how much ass would they kick? To see them go out relatively early was quite a surprise. And while Dale would like to exclude them for being a bit too OP, I think we're going to have enough powerful teams already to offset them. They won't be the only badass team to be racing, and the fact that they were so visibly badass in their season will most likely draw a huge target on their backs from the beginning, so I think their badasssery will be tempered by a number of factors. Did I say badass enough times?
2: Cecil/Rosa. Personality, like Dale already said. They were one of the first teams I really enjoyed watching (reading?) this season, and then they were gone. They managed to keep a lot of the silliness from Season 1 without being ridiculous like a lot of teams/situations from S1.
3: Barret/Dyne OR Freya/Fratley. I'm fine with either of these. Barret/Dyne seemed like they could have had a lot more life in them, if only they had been able to clear the first leg. And even though Freya/Fratley were pretty well-trod territory in Season 2, I think the nature of their relationship gives them a lot of new directions in a return season. Seeing Fratley without his memory loss (or at least with many of his memories now filled in by Freya) would drastically alter their relationship and allow them to still seem fresh.
