I'm curious to see who people would enjoy seeing in the upcoming season of Amazing Final Fantasy Race: Fallen-Stars. This is the teams that did not make the top half of the competition, which in most cases means a bottom six.
Additionally, you can also weigh in on the topic: "Are Fujin and Raijin Fallen-Stars or All-Stars?" They are from the only season of eleven teams and they fell right in the middle, so do they fall low or high and WHY?
You are allowed to select as many teams as you'd like for the poll, but keep in mind that if I see a solid block of "yay all teams" then it doesn't help me at all. On average, there will be 3 teams selected from each season, but that isn't a definite number. If one season wants 5, it just means another season gets 1 (or a combination of 'em get 2...y'know...math and all that).
So please, feel free to weigh in. And as always, comments help me a lot...plus it's kinda fun. Yes, Fallen-Stars probably won't happen for about a year, so this is WAY early, but I think it's fun to consider.
Similar threads will be posted for Seasons 2, 3, and 4 in Eventually Land.

I think Fujin/Raijin should appear in the season you need them most. If you have a TON of teams for All-Stars, then bump them down to Fallen, and vice-versa. I think they'd fit in either season.
My vote for Season 1 is Fujin/Raijin and Edgar/Sabin. If F/J get promoted to All Stars, then my vote is for Edgar/Sabin and I guuessss..... Squall/Rinoa. Season 1 didn't have a lot of great Fallen Stars, since it took you a bit before you started getting serious, so most of the teams are kinda silly. The only team I feel MUST be in Fallen Stars is Edgar/Sabin. They are basically the definition of Fallen Stars.

That's kinda my tentative plan for Fujin/Raijin, but wanted to get other opinions in case I've overlooked something.

I picked four teams: Tifa & Paine, Strago & Relm, Edgar & Sabin, and Fujin & Raijin.
Tifa & Paine were the first mixed team and really didn't get a fair shake. I'd like to see them come back having gotten to know each other since their first season (like, they kept in touch off-screen or something like that) and see how well they can work together a second time.
Strago & Relm were the first grandparent/grandchild team, and while they really weren't strong and will probably have no chance, at least having them will inject that sense of youth into the race. At least Relm will. Plus, the race needs strong personalities, and the four legs they lasted the first time showed that they had some pretty strong personalties. Again, Relm, especially.
Edgar & Sabin, like Fleck says, are the definition of "Fallen-Stars." They were running a good, solid race before that fateful Glide Detour came along on the Secret of Evermore leg. They'd been strong and consistent and basically lost on one Detour. They're probably the team that's the second-most deserving of a second chance at the game.
Finally, Fujin & Raijin are much better being considered as All-Stars. They won two friggin' legs in season one, both of them in a row, and had consistently strong finishes outside of those wins. Could they be considered for Fallen-Stars? Maybe. But I'd say you do that only if you get a surplus of All-Stars teams (or, if you cast Fallen-Stars first, then cast them only if you find out that you have a deficit of Fallen-Stars teams). But as it is, they deserve to be considered for racing with the best teams, not the worst ones.
I almost voted for Squall & Rinoa, but realized I really wanted to see the other four more. Also, Squall would've just done most of the work again, while Rinoa would've let him. No, thank you. And while Jenova & Sephiroth should be considered due to being the original first-outs, Bob has already said they're very unlikely, anyway, so I left them out of my vote, too.
So that's my take.
