Heh, awesome. Should be interesting with our cuh-raaaazy Squall. Just tell me when you're ready to use him!

I'm thinking of taking up a fourth character, Loz. I think I may be able to write him well without making him a wuss or anything. Opinions?

Loz huh? Interesting choice, he probably would be the best pick out of the three of them. Besides I dunno of any other good FF7 picks at this that haven't already been suggested. Go for it. I don't even know who I'd pick if I could have another/different character. Too many options... Besides the only character I could consider dropping at this point is Irvine, but I like him too much. Everyone else is too important. Well, Kuja isn't, everyone hates him anyway

I like Kuja. His rants make me laugh!
And I'd pick Loz out of the three because I don't like Kadaj much and Yazoo wasn't given enough personality to be worth the effort.

Yeah Loz really has the most personality, Yazoo may as well not have even been there other than as a pawn. Kadaj is cool but he'd be boring to write as I'm sure. 50% of his post would be 'mother!', 40% of his post would be 'brother!' and the last 10% would be 'Look at my awesome double bladed katana! Its shiny!'
Loz would at least throw in a 'Loz not like you, Loz crush!'
Of course I exaggerated a ton, but for the sake of comedy...
EDIT: Ah yeah and I'm glad you think Kuja's rants are funny, I enjoyed writin' them though ever since the snowball incident I'm gonna try and get in a more mature approach with him, he'll still have an angry rant every once and awhile but it wouldn't be like every post as before.

I've been really liking the changes Kuja has gone through. I like that, at first, he was just crazy, trying to take over the world. THEN when he was given an opportunity to destroy the world, he took it, but again failed. And now it's like, he's gotten tired of failing and is finally giving up and just working at the stupid mall (in his own way still).
For the Jenova's Chidren episodes of BS, Loz is easily the most fun to write.

Yeah that was pretty much the idea. In his words, "If I can't rule the realm, I'll at least rule this crappy little theatre."

I gotta run, but just you ya'll know, Mallboro has a SLIGHTLY new look (quicker links for the blitzball and arena) and make sure you click that blitzball "ad" (I hope it looks ad-like, cuz it's supposed to) and check out your teams. Nobody has stats yet, but just to make sure I got the lineups correct and such. Enjoy!

My only concern with writing Loz is keeping him from dissolving into "I'm not crying! Where's Mother? Kadaj is teasing me!" I think that I can make him appropriately childish without making him a dip, but I'll need time for a proper character study before I decide on anything solid.
Additionally, if I didn't have Vincent and Lucrecia, I might have taken all three and given them a combined journal.

I'm sure whatever you do'll be fine anyway! As long as he's not completely out of character it's good! From what I remember, he's a bit of a whiner, but he's ready and very able to kick some serious ass when it comes down to it. I love his weapon, whatever it's called.

That's what I love about picking characters to RP as, since (at least for me), I like to find a character and exaggerate some trait of theirs (for Loz, as you said, it'd likely be when he cries after fighting Tifa), but then explore their real personality further in doing so. So it's good to find a character that you can have fun with, but also that isn't a one-trick pony... At least for me.

I agree! It's why I love Jecht so much, all we really know about him is that he's Tidus' dad, Sin, and that he is an arrogant bastard. Enough to begin with, but lots to expand upon. That being said, I get a strange pleasure out of playing Steiner too. There's something about his rather totalitarian approach to protecting people that is fun to portray. Go with Loz! If you don't like it you can scrap him anyway!

It's good to get a good selection of characters. Count, in my opinion, you have the biggest diversity of characters. All from different games, all completely unique personalities. Mega props for how you play 'em all.
And Amy, I think Loz would be a good pick since you're working off of like, a strange family/friend tree. All of your characters are linked. Vince -> Lucrecia -> Seph -> Loz? But it's all up to you and if you think you could play him (and if you really want to).

I think I could do it. I know I can. I'll pick him up soon...I just need to get to know him better, you know? Spend some time hanging out, eat ice cream, etc...he's childish and a little easy to hurt, but will get mad shortly after being upset. He'd like cartoons and would fall for infomercials...Hm...
