Game: Final Fantasy IX Status: Heroine/Minor NPC Strengths: Limber and physically fit. Honorable. Weaknesses: Weakened team bond. Honorable. Role: Freya assisted Zidane by traveling with him to save Gaia. Fratley only appeared once in FF9, but his existence shaped Freya as she is by abandoning Freya to travel the world, only to be met with complete amnesia.

Sweet! Teams 2! Good choice too, they'd make a fine team, They are both skilled knights and Freya is pretty knowledgable and Fratly is pretty wise. If I were to bet on what place they'd come in, I'd guess 4th to 7th place, or a lucky shot into the final three. Nice choice Bob.
has anyone else noticed how thin Fratley is? His waist is about twice as wide. The fat must've been sucked out by some kind of Yan, those things suck ass.

Yeah, a lot of the character models are very skinny. One thing that always seemed funny to me was how skinny Steiner was. In that part where he's chasing Zidane and flies after him on the banner thing, you can see his leg, and MAN is it not the size of his armor. I think he's a bit confused as to what his measurements are...

Weird. Anyway, I'm pretty sure Fratley appeared more than once in IX...

Yeah he did, he was at the end of the game with Freya in the ruins of Burmecia, if you didn't see it, I think it may have been a bonus ending, but I never finished the game with those items, so I wouldn't know... and I totally agree with the Steiner thing, I always thought that, If Steiner lost the armor, and grew a neck and real eyes without eyeliner, I believe he would look pretty cool, He really isn't very fat at all.. Come to think of it, I've never actually seen Steiner's hair...

I THINK I've seen the ending with Freya and Fratley. Either way, I know what happens from that or transcripts. But I said only appearing once because IN the game he's only in it once. The end is different.... For me anyway. It's like, once in, and once after. So yes, twice. Either way, his main role was to develop Freya, which he did.

Aight fine with me, you said you had a 3 week break period right? Can I expect to see Team #3 soon if that's the case?

That you can. It's coming soon to a forum near you. Chances look good for tomorrow. I'm gonna try to get an update in tomorrow. Like, a REAL update.... Hopefully. Unfortunately, moving into my new apartment is taking WAY longer than I wanted....

Yeah it can be a bitch to move. Good news about the update though, finally gonna post those LONG overdue SoEs? I'd submit something but theres not much material to work with right now, If Fleck does something with Odine, then Dale can do something with Laguna, resulting in me being able to do something (hopefully) with Kiros. So Fleck, if you'd so kindly put an end to your vow of silence and help to revive (for only the billionth time) SoE, that'd be great. ;D

But if I end my vow of silence, my brothers at the monastery will kick me out and then I won't be able to play "Find the Sandal Hidden Somwhere in my Robes" with Brother Richard anymore! OMG GASP! I've already broken my vow just by saying that! Curse you and your trickery! CURSE YOU!!!!!!
Oh well... Find the Sandal wasn't that much fun anyway. He always hid it in the same spot.
Maybe if I'm not doing anything else and the stars are in alignment and Neptune is in retrograde or whatever, maybe I'll try to work a SOE in sometime this weekend. I've forgotten what's been happening so I'll have to reread the last like, 5 or 10 posts to remind myself.

Cool, I'm sure Dale is happy about it, I think he posted something about it back in July. Oh yeah, I guess I neglected to mention that I'm already cursed, the curse makes it so that every day at 10:24 PM I say something really stupid, and I never know what the stupid thing I say is, its a pretty crappy curse...

Finally! This team gets interesting! Bit of a role reversal, I see, with Freya losing her memory. I hope it's just for the third episode, though. One amnesiac is enough, thank you very much.

The way I see it they will probably end up getting eliminated this episode due to their injuries, its just what's bound to happen. Its a shame though, I saw them as being in the final three.

Well, they made it through in spite of the injuries, but how many more legs will they be able to carry themselves through? Because of their injuries, I don't see them getting any farther than just past the midpoint of the race, at best.

At this point I believe its entirely up to two things with them: -
1. If their injuries recover at some point during the race 2. If they can maintain a surviving position
As long as they remain in the race, there is more time for their injuries to heal. And they are strong enough of a team that once recovered, they can make a major comeback. Though there is probably a 70:30 chance they just can't recover fast enough and are eliminated due to their injuries. It's really all still up in the air.
