Okay, so nobody copied me, and I'm sure there are millions of these out there, but I found it, and it amused me... The Nintendo Amazing Race!!! They're in their second season already. I haven't read much, and to be honest, I probably won't because I'm not too keen on the writing style, but I'm still checking the results every now and again. This round they brought in some non-Nintendo runners, and they're one of the two teams I'm pulling for. I'm going for Sonic & Tails, or Koopa Troopa & Shy Guy... Didn't Nintendo acquire rights to Sega? I think so... that's where they'd have come in, hence why we have Sonic Advanced... I love sonic...

Today (May 7th)'s latest addition to the AFFR was probably the best one you've written yet! I was laughing hard, man, like, oh, my friggen god, like, totally, Ya Know? By the way, I'm really glad Raijin and Fujin are still in, and if I had had to choose who to knock off (I know you're not totally in control either), I probably woulda gone with Strago and Relm too. Great!

NOTE: IF YOU HAVEN'T READ THE LATEST EPISODE OF THE AMAZING FINAL FANTASY RACE THEN HURRY UP AND READ IT BEFORE YOU READ THIS. Sadly, I've been trying to bump out Strago and Relm for the past couple episodes. They were SUPPOSED to go in Ep. 2 when Strago DIES! But Relm had a good enough lead and managed to drag him all the way there. THEN they were supposed to go in Ep. 3 when Relm was all drunk, but damn it all, Strago carried her all the way to the end! THEN the current episode was the first week that I thought "man, they just might do well in this competition," and sure enough, they're gone.... Jesus, man, I hate those guys. They're proof that I have absolutely no control over what happens. O' course, this latest episode was odd for several reasons, all of which I didn't predict. Such as Yuna/Rikku winning. I was fairly certain that the brothers and Steiner/Beatrix had an uber lead on the other teams and would have a certain victory, but that sure didn't happen. Turns out, Nus are creepy critters.  (Just in case you didn't know what they look like... I know I'll never look at them the same again...) All around weird results. And well, I'm pretty sure I know where the next episode will be traveling to. I should have some fun with it. Your hints, if anybody cares to figure it out, are: It was a commonly disliked Squaresoft game for the SNES. Need more hints? Too bad! You might actually get it if I give more! |

I've got ten bucks on Final Fantasy Mystic Quest. I've never personally played it but I haven't heard anything good about it.
If I'm right, then it will continue the trend of AFFR episodes taking place in games that I've never played. When are they going to move to more contemporary worlds? I didn't get into the Final Fantasy series until 7, and I know jack about the ones before it. Ooh! 24 is on, gotta go!

well graphics aside, you should check out some SNES games by Squaresoft... download ZSNES and play basically every Square game you can get your hands on... then you'll know where they are I recommend you play at least Final Fantasy 6 and Chrono Trigger (the worlds they've visited thus far). Those are a couple of the best games for SNES, and both probably are at least on the top 50 games of all times (according to me anyway).... then again, I don't play too many games, so almost all of them would be on by default, but still! they rock. Anyway, I should probably put up a game sign in sheet for future rounds so that you won't be as left out... the next round will still be in the place I've decided (it isn't MQ, but good guess, Fleck) but maybe I can see where people are most knowledgeable. |

Okay okay, I'll give advanced warning to see if anybody wants to try to play the game in advance. The next world they're going to is..... Secret of Evermore! And you guys are going uhhhhh.... where? Well I won't have the first episode done for at LEAST a few days, so if you want to get ahead and learn about it, download ZSNES and find the Secret of Evermore rom. Play till at least the second world because I know for a fact that I'll use that one.
