And I was under the impression a bunch of 20+ year-olds would have gotten too old for "Pika-pika-CHUUUUUUU!"
Guess I was wrong...
Maybe they should put a grown man playing with pokemon toys in commercials opposed to 7 year olds...

How in the world can you like Bidoof!? No offense, it's just the single ugliest Pokemon in existence... It's modeled after my favorite animal in the world. . . . And I like Normal-types.

Ah, well that makes sense...but they coulda done a much better job on it, couldn't they? By the way--do you like Chaney and/or Linoone? Chansey used to be a big team member for me and I've been using a Linoone recently...
My favourite Pokemon is Gardevoir...which may give you some insight into my character...just slightly...

Getting back on topic, there's no doubt in my mind how much I want Yuna & Rikku or Shinra & Rufus to win now. Both teams are stomping Amarant & Lani, task-wise.
Rinoa finally made herself useful. I like what she did to help Amarant & Lani out at the Knight Detour. I also loved the Baku appearance.
I liked the Stop Sign twist. Totally makes up for the lame-o eliminated contestants returning twist. I just hope there are two. Relm, Squall, and Rinoa were the right ones to Stop, for sure.
I hope the final challenges are awesome ones, Bob.

no way would it be two, if they were gonna get eliminated, then why did they earlier say that the two additional teamates would be given a smaller cash prize if their team win, to motivate them, the stopsign was probably only temporarily, otherwise it will become a plothole, which may be what Bob has for an alias, but never the less, it's not an acceptable option...

Well, I really wanted Yuna & Rikku to take it, but I'm okay with Shinra & Rufus. Both teams did really well on the final leg. The shuffling in the ranks was entirely between their two teams.
I quite liked the resolution, though -- two teams who'd been allies since Episode 6 ending up facing off against one another to reach the finish line. It really worked.
Amarant & Lani . . . were never really in it. I don't know if it was bad luck in finding the Knights of Pluto, bad racing in completing the Cloister of Trials, or a combination of both. But they definitely weren't in contention after Shinra & Rufus and Yuna & Rikku made it to the Thunder Plains and even Guadosalam while they were still in the Macalania area.
All in all, good race, Bob. Hope season two is really good.
And to nobodyspecial: Looks like there were two of them, after all.

Yeah, I was wrong about the stop signs, I guess either they ded get payed even if they got kicked off, or the bonus money to them were just a motivator, but anyhow, I was right about Shinra and Rufus Winning! ;D
Good race Bob, nice ending, very well constructed... and a spelling error in the finale, you put "out" instead of "our". I think it was around Macalania Temple, but I can't be sure... overall, you did a kickass job and I cannot wait for season 2, and with season 1 done, you have time to work on that final fantasy 9 Knights of Pluto thing, Hurray! ;D

Congrats, over a week of silence on the forum, you know, that may be a world record, TGP forums ought to win a medal. "I now present the gold medal to The Goat Pen Forums for 'Best Feigned Death.' Congratulations and... hey, why are you still feigning death?"

Yeah, that's largely my fault. I have been uber busy, what with moving to a new apartment and having a zillion problems with the move, one of which is that my desktop (creator of website!) can't get internet until I buy something to give it to it...
I'll work on things soon though and get the site goin' again. Only another two weeks of summer school, then I get THREE WEEKS OFF! I think.... Woo!

I dunno... I think we've gone a week without posts before. I know that there have been long silences in the history of TGP and its forums, so this is nothing new.
Anyway, in my spare time ("spare time" being when I'm not slacking off or jerking off) I've been messing around with an idea for an interactive, head-to-head forum battle thingy. I think it'd be cool, but it's still in beta testing right now. I'm just trying to make something fun that will give people a reason to come back to the forums since we obviously don't have much to talk about anymore.

Holy crap! Where'd Wyvern go!?
Never fear---I am here: I've been busy doing orientation for the last ten days, not to mention my college has been iffy on the internet issues, so it's been difficult to even get on here to see what's up. Yes, we've definately had spells of time where there were no comments anywhere on the forums to the point where we were dangerously close to a month of silence, but things have changed...slightly. ...ok, fine, they haven't. Anyway, now that classes have started, I should be around a little more...We shall see.

When did you become Underwyvern? Oh yeah, evil experiment of Plotholeman... ;D "Forever fear... Underwvvern is here! When Superheroes in this world appear and stop the villians they should fear and awe all who see or hear, the shriek goes up both far and near due to UNDERWYVERN, underwyvern, UNDERWYVERN, underwyvern! Speed of lightning, roar of thunder saving all who rob or plunder! UNDERWYVERN uh ah ah AH AH underwyvern! When in this world the headlines read of those whose hearts are filled with greed and rob and steal from those in need, to aid this wrong with blinding speed goes UNDERWYVERN! underwyvern! UNDERWYVERN! underwyvern! Speed of lightning, Roar of Thunder, Saving all who rob or plunder! UNDERWYVERN! uh ah ah AH AH underwyvern! *fades out*" I always though that was poorly written... probably written by nobody too special. Let boredom conquer all, also Dentistral painkillers... 4 hours later and your eye socket is still numb from the painkillers in your lip... Or you know, whatever floats your boat... ;D
