A lot are shooting at the goal, but I thought it was from fixing the Super Goalie bug, but as Rich pointed out, there's a bug in the drag that's making them shoot closer. Ironically, I am thinking the bug is caused by the exact same error as I just fixed in another function, but we'll see later tonight when I have time to look it over.

Okay. Good to know.

I looked at the games and everyone shot from either the (10,0) or (9,0) spot (both are considered to be dunks by the program), so the ball didn't have to move through the water. However, there were a few Buzzer Beaters and we see there that the shot instantly degraded to 0 as soon as it moved through the pool.
If it gets too complicated or if more bugs keep coming up, we can just use the same program from last season.

Looking at how MAG did in their results, I think there's something off with the passing. Every pass resulted in a fumble, and MAG are pretty much the best passing team around, so I'd consider looking into that. Sorry for all the extra work Bob! My maths is a bit crap and I avoid it at all costs in my programs, so kudos for manning up and going full trigonometry in your program

Yeah, dude. Respect for spending your free time on a numbers project.

Like I said, I know what went wrong. You know that exact error I mentioned regarding the Super Goalie? Yeah, I kinda did that again. Well, I did it before I knew it was the problem, then forgot I even changed anything. This was probably the first bug I've had that I knew exactly what I was looking for--didn't take long to fix it. All the symptoms matched up (so thanks for the info about the problem, guys).
I had the drag for shot and pass both being calculated as (int) 0.9*shot, so since computers truncate instead of round, it was taking the int of 0.9 (y'know...0), and multiplying it by your shot. So yeah, if they weren't "dunking" it, as Rich put it, then the drag would make it 0.
Thanks for catching that, guys. I was in a massive rush last night and just figured "hell, the scores seem good, so let's upload and go to bed!" Glad y'all look through the output.
The first round was rematched. Check out the new scores--two games changed winners (well, one went from tie to win), other two just changed scores.
And hey, numbers are kinda my thing. But thanks!

Yeah, these games turned out much better with the drag fix!
It's funny how a character will look really good on the spreadsheet but then totally fail during the game. Glad I found that out during the game against myself!

Yeah, that happens. Sometimes you just need to find the right position for them.
By the way, I'm going to go ahead and sim the next round on Sunday. I think my mishap with the first round put people off schedule, so we'll just do Round 2 on Sunday. K? K.

I just didn't allocate the stats right. If you put too many points on to just one stat the rest all suffer. But it was a backup player, so it's not going to affect my game too much.

Watching a movie now, but will sim matches afterward. Still missing some line-ups though, so try to get 'em in asap!

Okay, Round 2 is simmed! Get me line-ups by Wednesday and I'll get those games simmed!
*****Round 2 Results*****
Only two games simmed, unfortunately (need those line-ups, Wyvern). SM7 vs GB was a close game. GB had the edge for most of it and managed to hold it, but SM7 really came close to ending that little dilemma. Mercs vs Marbs was a clear-cut victory. Amarant tried center, but couldn't get through Zack, who just kept taking the ball from him over and over. Lani got a couple goals in there, but she's not a great shot, so that's not the best plan.

Dangit, SM7's still not quite good enough to beat GB... but they're getting closer!

Ashe must have been intimidated by Worker 8. She got all the way up into dunking position with a 22 Shot Bonus and choked, handing the ball over the the Merc's Defense.

They're a pretty intimidating team. I mean, he's a friggin' robot!
So far I only have Rich's line-ups. Still waiting on Count and Wyvern.
Wyvern: I still don't even have your line-ups from Round 2. Somethin' going on? I'd rather not see those games be listed as forfeits since we only have four active players as is. Lemme know what's going on.
