Are our characters allowed to work freelance a la Jecht's Black Market? I'd like my characters to work but I'm not sure I want them signing a contract with the one of the polar deities.

As long as Mallboro.com is involved in some way in the work, CoD is willing to allow freelancers. However, Mallboro.com must always remain the intermediary, and receive a share of any profits. You can remain autonomous, so long as your character doesn't try to remove CoD from the equation. In return, CoD offers her advertising network, brand recognition, and assistance in sales and services for her employees.
In addition, Mallboro.com employees are free to do whatever they want with their free time, so long as they continue working for CoD.

Got it. So it's like the "contracts" we signed for NORG but not nearly as compulsory.
