Well, I just scored a big, fat FAIL, since I predicted that Barret/Dyne would at least make it to 8th place. I thought they'd be more handi-capable. And to lose in their own world too, right off the bat. Truly, the Hornless Award goes to Barret and Dyne.

I totally didn't expect them to go out first, either. But considering Bob overcast this season with men's teams (four!), I'm okay with it. And since they were in the bottom two with Biran & Yenke, I more or less knew they were toast since something didn't quite feel right about the only Ronso team going home first.
What kind of pisses me off more, though, is that this race has three POCs, and right off the bat, one's gone.

It has more than that. Three times as much. Barret, Rude, Freya, Fratley, Brahne, Biran, Yenke, Dona, and Fran. Go minorities!

Add Garnet/Dagger, who is of the summoner tribe.

True. Man, I forgot... Garnet is supposed to have a horn, but doesn't! Dare I say she's... hornless?

In retrospect, I'm not too broken up about Barret/Dyne being eliminated. Yeah, they had a couple of good jokes in the beginning, but they were quickly becoming the least colorful (figuratively, anyway) of the twelve. And AFFR2 already has a macho testosterone-duo in Biran/Yenke (who do it better, and are funnier about it).
Anyone besides me notice a rather HUGE difference in skill between the leading teams and everyone else? I mean, damn, barring misfortune or bad choices, you can pretty much already tell who the final five teams are gonna be.
And what the hell? Why are Zone/Watts kicking so much ass? Bob, you're totally screwing up my numbers!

I think its coming out good. I agree on the whole thing with Barret and Dyne, but as for Zone and watts....
The way I see it, they are resistance faction members, used to careful planning and risks. They must be something of skilled to be a resistance faction and not get crushed for quite a long time, or ever for that matter. Not to mention, of every single team, they are the only average, perfect example of a normal human. Therefore they have good well rounded skills, and can do everything pretty much without too much difficulty. They have no disabilities, nothing to pull them down aside from Zone's "stomach" problem, which isn't even that bad in the first place. Think about it.
Brahne is very fat and abnormally horny. Biran and Yenke are very large and unskilled in technology, Barret and Dyne had their gun arms, Fran is a bunny, and both Fran and Balthier want so much competition that they remind me of the Bunny and Tortoise. All other teams are the tortoise and they are the bunny. You know the rest, Reina and Faris are a Pirate/Princess. Very different and you should know the weakness/strength ratio there. Ma tries to be polite and nice and Zell is often too emotional or out of control, and he bickers with his ma a lot, Fratley and Freya are rats, and with their love scene going on they always get distracted, Dona is always too busy ordering Barthello and Barthello is a pussy, so that slows them down, Cid is an old man and therefore frail, he and Celes are much like Strago and Relm, Cecil and Rosa lack a large weakness, but they are just not well roundedly, slightly bad in most things. Zone and Watts have Zone's problem but they are well rounded in everything else, nothing big to hold them back.
So yeah, Zone and Watts should fair well, Kind of similar to Raijin and Fujin, or Auron/Jecht but with no villainy.

Ok, there is several things wrong there. For one, just about everyone who reads the stuff on TGP is on the forum as well, which by the way I am glad you've become an active member of, so naturally, that'd be like repeating a joke, plus unless its an allusion to something, Bob always uses fresh material for his writing. Basically, what happens on the forum stays on the forum, unless said so otherwise. For two, It's actually just ROFL, not ROFTL, it just is.
I'm not discouraging you or anything, but you are new to the forum, so please, I'd love to hear more of what you have to say and what not. ;D

Actually, neither of those are 100% true. Sometimes stuff hops over out of the forum. I've been known to throw a line into something, because 1. it's just a fun little site and 2. you're actually not the only readers... Dale wrote his own AFFR Season 2 and posted it on another forum a while back, and doing that brought in some twenty+ readers, almost all of which aren't present here on the forums.
Also ROTFL is accepted too... As much as any 1337 is accepted... Which should be never ever at all, but whatever.
...And I think he was just makin' a fun lil' comment. SOL!
(SOL = Smile Out Loud. It has nothing to do with being Out of Luck...)

Bob has the right idea. All I was saying was that it was a really good idea of his that would be fun to find its way into the race.
And... well, okay. No more ROTFL at all, then. Actually, I rarely use text-speak.
