So, I just finished making my chart: wyvern.goatpen.org/BlitzRecords.xlsObservations: I feel like this season is turning out to be a throwback to season 2, where the best a player team managed was 5-1-3. Taking into account the match-ups in the last 4 rounds, it doesn't look like any team is going to crack 7 wins... Certainly, Loveless COULD hit 8-1-0, but it doesn't seem likely, even though they're especially beastly this season. And so, half-way into this season, I've got a prediction for the final outcome: LOVELESS - 5-3-1 GRIZZLY BEARS - 4-2-3 LUCA GOERS - 4-2-3 THE MAD EXPERIMENTS - 4-2-3 MARLBORO MADNESS - 4-4-1 GUEST WHO - 4-5-0 MERCENARIES - 3-3-3 SUBLIMELY MAGNIFICENT 7 - 3-4-2 NIGHTSHADES - 2-4-3 MAGIC MISSILES - 1-5-3

Also, what about player remakes affecting the plus/minus stats? That could be a problem if you're basing this data over several leagues, although it should be fine on a league by league basis. I'll post the results League by League. So not only will the charts reflect how well a player is doing overall, but it should also indicate whether or not rebuilds have helped/hindered. If a player was on the positive end for a couple season, got rebuilt, and then slipped into the negatives, it would be very telling. So hopefully this will prove useful Also, nice chart, Gabe. At last, I can officially say that the Guests Who are the league's worst! I have arguably the best and worst teams in blitz! I AM THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA!

Thanks - I think this might lend itself to my next project, which, unless you're already planning something like this, will be charting the formations game by game (I might add it to this spreadsheet after the score in [X] format) to determine how effective a given team is with a formation. For instance, TME seems to be very effective when I use JECHT with them... of course, that's not necessarily the case for real, and I'd like to see how it pans out.
Also, and this should be obvious, the different-colored asterisks indicate placement medals. I might change it so that league asterisks are before the name and tourns are after, but we'll see. Also, I forgot to include overall records for every team except GB. Whoops.

Also, my predictions for LO and MAR may already be off - I was expecting a tie, I believe.

Finally got around to updating the league stats after the 5th league. Couple interesting things of note:
1 = Loveless has just edged out the Bears for Number 1 Overall Standings! Applaud for Loveless! APPLAUD, DAMN YOU!
2 = Despite being consistently better than the Shades for several seasons now, Mad X is still JUST behind the Shades in the overalls. Another season ought to switch these roles around, unless the Shades come back swingin' next season.
3 = Despite having a four league headstart on Mayhem, the Guests are already within distance of being knocked back into last in one league. ... Go Guests?
4 = SM7 and Guests continue to have a shooting frenzy with each other, while the Bears sit back and chuckle, muttering something about "you need defense too" before going back to their tea and stock exchange news.
5 = Due to a technicality, Mayhem has the number 1 defense in the league! Go new guy! I could have changed it, but since Rich is being shafted in the overall and Points For standings, I figured he could be number 1 here. He's number one in our hearts too (*audience awwwwws*). His stats will be a lot more fair when I do the tournament stats, because those are mostly based on percentages, and he kicked ass this tourney, so I expect to see his name near the top in a lot of things.

I see what you mean about Guests and SM7. Great at scoring points, but crap at stopping them. A couple well-placed defenders could turn these teams from bottoms to tops, it seems.

A defense that is not needed is still a good defense.

Poor SM7, been there since the start and still have 0 points.
